About the Job: Develop presentation and training modules for Siemens FPGA prototyping software and hardware solutions Deliver customer training remotely and in person in support of product evaluations and ongoing customer support Develop and deliver presentations and examples highlighting the use of new features to customers and Siemens Applications Engineers Develop and deploy a certification program for Siemens Application Engineers wishing to specialize in support of prototyping solutions Develop and record short training videos for web publication highlighting challenges and solutions in FPGA based prototyping Develop product demonstrations used for product presentations, self-guided tutorials which will ship with the product and labs used for customer and AE training Ensure customers have a positive experience and maximize the value they receive from the solution by developing and enhancing methodologies and best practices that exploits the solution’s capabilities Work closely with R&D to improve the overall quality, usability and features of the product based upon personal experience and feedback from customers Work with Documentation to ensure that features and methodology documentation is complete and user friendly Work with QA to help them create tests based upon real word scenarios Works with general supervision on complex projects with latitude for independent judgment and discretion. Ability to learn, understand and communicate complex technical information. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. You will be required to share knowledge and communicate ideas through a wide variety of mediums including presentations, self-guided labs, example designs, videos and conference papers. Ability to travel domestically and internationally. Travel includes customer meetings as well as visits to other Siemens R&D sites. Minimum Qualifications: BS or MS in EE, CE, CS or related areas, from an accredited institution. Minimum of 5 years of experience in design, verification, simulation, emulation and prototyping of electronics chips and systems. Preferred Qualifications: SystemVerilog, Verilog and VHDL RTL design experience ASIC and/or FPGA implementation experience (synthesis, place&route) Verification experience with SystemVerilog, SystemC and/or C/C++ Debug of RTL designs and simulation Proficient in scripting languages used today (e.g., Perl, Python, various shell scripts/Makefiles, XML, JSON, etc.) Experience with FPGA design, FPGA tools and STA. Experience with emulation Competitive personality driven to win, ethically, in competitive business situations Good communication and inter-personal skills Ability to create and deliver product demos, live via internet or recorded Ability to create and deliver product presentations focused on functionality and value differentiation Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
