The Linear Precision Solutions group, best of its class on high precision signal chain components and solutions, is looking to hire an exceptional individual for the position of Product Engineering Intern. This candidate will undertake performance measurements and full silicon characterization of precision amplifier, instrumentation amplifiers, current sense or ADC driver products. This position will provide the qualified candidate exposure to all aspects of new product engineering from product definition through production and release.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work on silicon evaluation/debug or characterization depending on the stage of the product life. During the process there is opportunity to learn Si debug on transistor level.
  • Learn and apply sophisticated measurement methods to achieve the high-precision specifications.
  • Ability to process large amount of data, document them well and present findings clearly.
  • Interface with a cross-function team: design, process, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing as the product(s) move from start to release.
  • Participate in team meetings and activities. Follow through on commitments and communicate issues in a timely manner. Share knowledge and information readily.
  • Support development both hardware and software for automation/manual test capability including debug/analysis of hardware, PCB design, software development for various debug tools and instrument software drivers; also provide feedback and suggest for improvements

 

Qualifications:

  • Working toward BS or MS in ECE degree
  • Experience with debugging analog micro-electronic circuits using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test instrument 
  • Basic knowledge of Circuits and Electronics [familiarity with instrumentation amplifiers a plus]
  • Eager to learn new graphical programming language to control and automate tests
  • Knowledge or exposure to LabView a plus 
  • Self-motivated, team player
