In this position you will be focused on product development and deployment of Questa and related simulation technologies. In this position you will be working closely with product development teams, marketing managers, application engineers and customers. Some domestic and international travel will be required. Define product features and methodologies: As a PE you define feature and product requirements for Questa to address current and emerging design and verification challenges. Work closely with product development and marketing teams to connect these challenges with Siemens’ current and emerging technical solutions. Also drive product feature rollout and guide customers through design and verification use models. Support marketing activities: Work closely with marketing teams to perform market research, develop product positioning strategies and create supporting collateral. Develop and present collateral at conferences, seminars, demos and events. Work with customers: Play an active role in developing solutions to solve customer problems. Work with customers to understand Questa usage, flows and challenges. Develop customer relationships and participate in customer facing activities like product demonstrations, training, evaluations and competitive benchmarking. Ideally, you are an experienced design or verification engineer with knowledge of current simulation methodologies. Additional responsibilities include: Developing technical relationships with customers and Siemens R&D, marketing and product engineering teams Delivering technical presentations, demos and training to a range of audiences including users, managers, and decision-makers Influencing product direction by gathering customer requirements and defining use models that enable development and marketing teams Participating in new feature specification, development, and validation process to ensure features meet customer requirements Job Qualifications 5+ years experience in RTL design and/or functional verification with a focus on simulation and simulation debug Experience using Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL and TCL/TK Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal Exposure to sales and applications environment is a plus Occasional travel is required Education: B.S.E.E or equivalent; M.S.E.E. or equivalent preferred Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a technology supplier to the United States Federal Government.
