The Sr. Product Engineer is responsible for ultra-high volume production of our MEMS sensor products. To fully execute on this job, the Engineer must engage with market and design from the Product Requirements Definition phase and has a plan for characterization that will define the performance envelope completely. He/she must also characterize all design and production iterations and provide feedback to the product development team, such that the product exceeds target specifications at mass production release, and can maintain high yield, good reliabiltiy, as well as meet customer expectations. The successful candidate is detail oriented and is experienced with the followings. This position will require working with multiple teams including CMOS Design, MEMS Design, NPI, Production Test, Quality, and Production.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with CFT teams to release and maintain high yielding products to ultra-high volume production with highest quality
• Perform final test yield analyses and drive improvement and corrective actions together with foundry/assembly/testing/RA teams at Taiwan and across the Pacific.
• Characterize new product architecture/platform
• Perform testing per production requirements (capacity/cost/quality), define process flow and customer specific requirements
• Support Reliability Team in new product qualification and failure analysis
• Work with Marketing on datasheets
• Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

• MS in EE/Physics/Chemistry/Material Science/etc. with >5 years’ experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both in Mandarin and English
• Basic knowledge on test with production/bench testing equipment and test setup.
• Experience with semiconductor, mixed signal, and MEMS testing, process and integration
• Proficient in data collection, data analysis, and statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fundamental knowledge of MEMS sensor (gyroscope, accelerometer, pressure sensor) technologies
• Experience in characterization of any of the following sensors: gyroscope, accelerometer, pressure sensor, PMUT, microphone or any other comparable physical sensor
• Understanding of MEMS fabrication processes.
• Fluency in Data analysis tools like MATLAB, Excel, JMP, SQL
• SW programming knowledge in C++/C# or Labview a plus
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies
