Responsibilities:

Work with design, validation and product engineering team members to develop production test setups for high speed 100G (and above) NRZ/PAMproducts and Broadband (RF) analog products.

Develop test methods and generate/convert test vectors to support production and characterization test on Advantest 93K (Smartscale and Portscale models).

Sustain existing bench test platforms running high speed tests and make improvements.

Work with planning and product engineering to support customer sampling requirements.

Develop production-worthy ATE hardware (board/socket) which involves working with simulation and design teams to close the signal integrity simulation to meet required performance.

Bring up wafer sort capability offshore. Sort includes extensive trimming with high speed performance testing at wafer level.

Define the DFt requirements working with design teams to achieve high digital/analog test coverage at low cost of test.

Provide test support function for new and existing high run-rate products.

Contribute to continuous process improvement activities within PTE team

Target product cost reduction efforts through test time reduction and multisite testing.

Travel offshore to release test program and hardware and train offshore HVM team.

Qualifications:

Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.

Minimum 10 years of experience on SERDES/RF IC test development on ATE/Bench

Ability to lead the test-development effort independently within PTE organization.

Experience on Agilent/Anritsu bench test equipment (BERT, Scope, VNA, PNA, spectrum analyzer and peripherals).

Experience on high speed SERDES/RF test environment.

Expert knowledge of Python software environment including GUI development, instrument control.

Good understanding of characterization techniques and test development fundamentals for mixed-signal ICs in the 100 MHz to 30 GHz operating frequency.

Desired Skills:

• Combination of High speed performance testing and RF test experience is desired

• Proven track record of developing production/characterization test for high-speed SERDES andRF products with bench test experience.
• Experience with test bench equipment, including, but not limited to BERTs, DSOs, Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers and programmable power supplies
• Prior experience in working with PXIe based instrumentation with National Instruments Teststand /Labview/.Netprogramming experience is desired
