Come and join us. Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join the XFG (Switch and Fabric Group) in our Network and Edge Group (NEX) as a Product Engineering Manager. We're part of the Connectivity Group (CG) in Intel's NEX, and are looking for motivated, passionate and talented software engineers to join our Networking Applications development team for programmable high-speed switching ASICs. We're a strong, vibrant, cross-site team that helps drive Intel's programmable switching technology and products to position Tofino as the switching platform of choice for Cloud and Data Center network deployments.
In this role, you will need to be passionate about continuous yield improvement on our existing production switch products, and take the challenge of bringing up new products and getting them to high volume production.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* Work with test engineering team to verify test programs for production, debug, characterization, and qualification.
* Work with system engineering team to develop, maintain and continuously improve system level screening of our switches in production to guarantee low dppm.
* Work with test and DFT teams to characterize parts and debug issues with new products prior to production.
* Work with Quality and Reliability team to ensure new products are qualified, to debug RMA issues on existing products.
* Work with OSATs to sustain and continuously improve the yield and test productivity of switch products in production.

Plans and schedules daily tasks, uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or related field.
What we would like to see:
* 5 years of experience in a product engineering role supporting IC’s using leading edge semiconductor technology.
* 5 years of expertise in new product introduction supporting bring up, characterization, and debug of new parts.
* 2 years managing a high performance product engineering team.
It's great if you have:
* 2 years of experience with system level testing of products.
* Experience with yield enhancement tools such as YE.
