The position is based in our Congleton office, our award-factory in Congleton where we design, develop, and manufacture variable speed drive products for the UK and export markets. This role is an HQ function which closely works with regions and central functions globally. The Product Lifecycle Manager is responsible for developing and managing the extended warranty solution for complete Digital Industry product families (drives, motors, automation, PLCs, etc.). This entails the development of operationally viable and profitable product/service, enhancing the existing portfolio elements and aligning with the organisation's growth strategy through a partnership across functional teams. This individual will be responsible for successfully developing assigned solutions within the portfolio, ensuring offering is completed in accordance with organisational processes, timeline and go to market targets. They will lead and drive the project management and the relationship with internal/external teams (PLMs, Operations, Sales, Partner Channels etc.), and ensure alignment with overall business strategy and objectives. This is a role well-suited to an ambitious professional looking for a broader project management experience within diverse teams and enhanced product families as the next step in their career. This is your role. What part will you play? Drive product/service from conceptualisation to operationally viable solutions utilising organisations’ exiting (common) best practices from other departments. Evaluate the future market requirements, competitor situation, purchase-deciding factors, unique features, etc. regarding the solution. Lead and drive the development and implementation of project plans for the assigned product family. Ability to strategically drive and direct short to long term business objectives. Provide transparency about status through project management and regular reporting of key metrics. Preparation, evaluation and reporting of the relevant indicators for the solution (e.g., pricing, EBIT, EVA, revenues, etc.). Establish and foster relationships that lead to the collaboration with all stakeholders and the most effective, high-quality deliverables for our customers across all industries and channels. Enable to serve the product and relational data from services via standard interfaces to our customers. Solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies Motivated and able to have a strategic vision beyond the project scope. Ability to think strategically and foresee the future of needs. Must be results-driven, action-oriented and passionate about making a positive customer impact while balancing business needs. Use your skills to move the world forward. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or product marketing. Advanced degrees are a plus. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the following: Project/product management, technical basics of the related product, marketing basics, development process, strategic planning, business management.
