Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Product Line Manager to join our team. Only candidates currently residing within 50 miles of an Eaton facility will be considered. Position Overview: Eaton’s Aerospace’s Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Product Manager to lead product marketing, product lifecycle management, and business development activities for a portfolio of products within the Fuel Business. Reporting to the Product Line Director for the Fuel Business, the Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing product line growth strategies, leading new product development teams to ensure XRL readiness of IR&D projects, improving product positioning and margin performance of existing products, and leading early customer engagement and new business development activities to drive growth to Eaton. In this function you will: Develops and manages product strategies and product roadmaps Analyzes market trends and captures competitive intelligence at product level Captures voice of customer inputs for development of product strategies Develops and leads product and technology roadshow presentations for Customers Leads XLR readiness of IR&D projects Develops product lifecycle strategies for all phases (introduction, growth, maturity, decline); Leads product licensing and divestitures as appropriate Manages product portfolio to ensure products are competitive and meet current and future needs including identifying any potential product upgrades Improves profit margin performance by developing and leading cost out and pricing initiatives Leads strategic capture campaigns as needed, including early customer engagement activities, bid strategies, proposal management, Gates reviews, and proposal submittal. When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 10 years of professional Aerospace & Defense experience required 5 years in either marketing, business development, sales, engineering, or program management This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within 50 miles of an Eaton facility will be considered.
