Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
This role is heavily focused on strategic products marketing and identifying qualified opportunities with execution for growth target of Abbott Structural Heart Surgical Valves Franchises in China
Work closely with regional sales managers, field reps, as well in collaboration with APAC regional marketing, to provide leadership for the Surgical Valves Franchises to identify market opportunities, drive sales, and maintain relationships in key accounts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development
- Identify new sales opportunities and work closely with the sales team to manage and optimize the sales process for assigned franchises (i.e. key account management, hospital listing, etc.)
- Rapidly develop sales pipeline by introducing new product with launch excellence, as well leveraging Abbott Structural Heart China’s existing product lines.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key customer accounts as well as market influencers.
- Identify the customer needs to provide feedback to the APAC regional marketing for developing solutions that are focused on Surgical Valve in Chinese market.
Product and Application Expertise
- Responsible for the production and distribution of product information, training materials and application notes. Frequently work closely with local education, regional marketing to develop relevant material used in China market. Examples include: local White Papers, application notes, FAQs and presentations for internal and external use.
- Ensure that sales, clinical support are kept informed of any technical or strategic issues that may affect their roles.
- Providing Sales staff with applications advice, ensuring products is targeted appropriately to satisfy customer needs and expectations.
Market and Competitive Intelligence
- Leverage customer relationships, technical expertise and product knowledge to assist local sales and regional marketing in the planning and coordination of activities such as new product launches, promotional campaigns, marketing communications, market research and competitive rebuttal activity.
- Provide technical information and guidance, where required, to support strategic planning, revenue planning, and monthly forecast processes.
- Ensure that marketing receive product related feedback from customers and the field to be passed back to the relevant stakeholders.

- Conduct business in full compliance including but not limited to Abbott Code of Business Conduct and Divisional policies on both local and global levels
Qualifications
- A Bachelor degree or above in the Medicine/Business/Marketing discipline (with Cardiac Surgery experiences preferred).
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Good command of MS office software application
- Product & marketing expertise
- In addition to the educational qualification, he/she shall have good track record for working in a MNC company for eight or more years, with related supervisory work experience in sales, product marketing, Clinical support or training.
