In this role, you will be able to shape the future propositions of the new Category Access & OB for Ultrasound. Building on our current portfolio, you will actively focus on creating new solutions for our customers. You will play a vital role in further growing our profitable business as well as staying competitive. You are responsible for

  • Our upstream marketing activities for the products / solutions, including definition of the strategy and its enablers as well as its alignment with key markets globally.

  • Defining new product ranges and managing the product portfolio.

  • Ensuring that our product plans are integrated with planning of other disciplines, like Development and Manufacturing.

  • Lifecycle management and market readiness as part of our development cycle. Ensuring completion of appropriate deliverables (feature descriptions, value propositions, costing/pricing/quoting materials, etc.)

  • Setting up a close and effective collaboration with your colleagues globally working in different departments, functions and businesses.

You are a part of

The newly formed Business Category Access & OB within Ultrasound, which will play a critical role in the future success of Ultrasound. This cross-functional team consists of different functions as Marketing, Business Development Management, Clinical Science and R&D Project Management. The team is based in Shanghai but will have very close collaboration with our colleagues around the world. You will report to the product management leader.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A global mindset and proven ability to build and maintain global networks.

  • Strong drive and experience in value proposition creation.

  • Skilled at portfolio management and pragmatic decision-making around lifecycle management.

  • Understanding of willingness to pay and commercial policy enabling development of pricing models.

  • Skilled at driving customer results by utilizing program/project management abilities.

  • Expert at defining marketing mix, channel strategies and Go-To-Market approach, Installed Base programs, etc.
