Job Description
Position Description: Job Responsibilities: • Determine customers' needs and desires from different g through strategic research, deep understanding and competitive analysis obtained from a variety of sources in including internal research teams, key suppliers and partners, and third party research organizations. • Determine nature and scope of smart device product lines by designing the product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes. • Determine product pricing by the deep understanding of the smart device market, utilizing market research data; reviewing production and sales costs; anticipating volume; costing special and customized orders. • Balance company resources in order to determine that products will have adequate HW, pricing and SW support and deliver a superior customer experience. • Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses; establishing time schedules with engineering and manufacturing. • Introduce and market new products by developing time-integrated plans with sales, advertising, and production. #### Position Requirements: Position Requirements: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science; an MBA or equivalent is preferred. • Fluent in English. • Background in product management, understanding of customer requirements, product development, spec analysis, pricing, strategy planning, competitive analysis, sales planning and financial planning. • At least 5 years in type of technical company, experience in PC/Smart Phone/Tablet/Smart Device/AR/VR industry preferred. • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions. • Superior presentation skills and the ability to adapt messaging to target audiences including CxO level audiences both internally and externally. • Prior experience in working in a matrixed structure and with global teams. • Strong business acumen with a global mindset. • Financial management responsibility in a visible, fast-growing and extremely competitive business. • Excellent skills in talent management and development. • Strong leadership presence to support internal and external requirements We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
