Eaton’s Industrial Controls Division is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team. This position is based at our division headquarters located in Menomonee Falls, WI. The role offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote) and relocation is provided. Position Overview: Our Product Manager leads the execution of the strategic marketing plan for the Automation and Pushbuttons Product lines, including achieving financial objectives and executing a product strategy and roadmap that supports the overall strategy of the product line. This individual will drive and influence the strategy and create value propositions via a thorough understanding of customer needs, market trends, and competitor activities. The Automation and Pushbutton product lines represent key businesses that support the Industrial Control Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a candidate who is passionate about solving customer problems and growing sales and profitability through, superior customer experience and active promotion of differentiated products. This role works extensively with teams across the globe and serve as the North American lead for the Global Automation strategy. This role also offers a unique opportunity to work cross functionally with all facets of Eaton’s business. This role reports into Eaton’s Industrial Control Division headquarters located just outside Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The headquarters is a recently constructed, modern facility including both office space and state of the art laboratories. Develop and drive the execution of the strategic plan including roadmap development and presenting of new product development ideas. In this function you will: Manage the assigned products through launch / retire / etc as needed. Plan and implement sales and marketing strategies to achieve profit plan sales and financial objectives Coordinate and develop support materials required to implement domestic and international product launches including catalogs, brochures, competitive comparisons, demos, videos promotions etc. Analyze key competitors to identify strengths, weakness and opportunities related to products, service level and strategies to support product strategy and roadmaps. Manage price realization objectives and targets Engage with sales and customers to promote assigned products in the marketplace and stay on-top of customer needs and market trends Assist and lead customer marketing activities and partner with division resources to develop and maintain product marketing collateral Functionally manage to achieve sales growth, conversion, and training objectives Profit Plan Sales and Financials (Sales Volume, Return on Sales, RPI), Market Share Growth, Product Vitality (New Product Sales), Product Roadmap VOC When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Basic Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business from an accredited institution. Three (3) years of experience in management, strategic marketing, technical marketing, sales, engineering or operations. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and within the future. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge/Understanding of Financial basics: Forecasting, Standard Margin, fixed and variable costs, NPV, IRR, YTP. Position Criteria: Must be able to communicate effectively at multiple organizational levels. Strong technical aptitude. Experience working with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, finance and multiple sales channels. Must be experienced in facilitating customer meetings and delivering presentations.
