We are seeking a highly motivated product manager to join our agile high-performance development team in Beijing. You are responsible to deliver KNX solutions to market using some of ABB’s most advanced technologies (e.g. ABB AbilityTM ) in collaboration with ABB’s most modern institutions for smart buildings such as “ABB Digital Fabric Germany” and “ ABB Open Innovation Center China” to achieve a maximum of interoperability and openness. You won’t be a normal KNX product manager, you create something bigger out of our whole portfolio and technologies to rise our KNX portfolio towards digitalization.

• You will be part of an agile development team and collaborate very close with R&D and Quality
• You define and drive solutions for KNX in commercial and residential segments for China but also global—you are the closest person to our customers
• You define/merge a new portfolio for ABB Building Automaton in China based on KNX/F@H and I-Jia combined with cloud technologies for premium but also volume markets in China
• You lead market analyzes (market situation, competitors, government policies, value chains, market trends, new technology/functions, product gaps, target cost analysis, etc.)
• You define competitive product value propositions
• You define pricing strategies—generate and correct pricing and positioning for each individual country, to achieve product profitability
• You define new target segments, collect market/product requirements, create business plans for target areas, provide payback analyzes, define price positionings and set priorities
• You initiate and drive product market communication strategies in your product responsibility—initiate product launch planning’s and implementations, provide necessary product promotion materials
• You collaborate very close with other ABB organizations such as the Open Innovation Center to drive a holistic solution approach combining KNX with ABB’s technologies such as for cloud, but also with 3rd party solutions such as for artificial intelligence etc.

• High performance
• Bachelor or Master degree
• Proven track record as product manager
• Proactive, team-oriented, highly responsible and able to work under pressure and excellent at communication and coordination
• Chinese as mother tongue, very good English (fluently)
• Passionate about user experience
• Fast decision maker

• Knowledge of innovation methodologies
