Eaton’s Bussmann Division is currently seeking a Product Manager for our Electrical Safety product line to join our team. This position is based at our Ellisville, MO (Greater St. Louis area) and provides a hybrid (3 days in office/2 days remote) work schedule option. Position Overview: The Product Manager will provide direction and leadership for the Electrical Safety product portfolio and for profitable growth of the product line. In thisrole, you will set the product line pricing strategy and realization objectives and have ultimate responsibility for managing the product line through the entire product life cycle as well as developing new products based on market needs and opportunities. In this function you will: Sets strategic plan for the Bussmann electrical safety product line and establishes product line strategic direction Establishes annual profit plan objectives for the electrical safety product line. Sustain product line to adapt to market change or to penetrate new markets and address competitive offerings. Develops, implements and reviews tactical sales plans, price, market share and operating profit objectives and monitors product line financial and market performance. Develop sales strategies, supporting customer cultivation plans and establishing effective communication channels between the plant and field sales organization. Evaluation of product line cost reduction, modification, and process improvement recommendations Key member of product development team through the concept, development, implementation and market introduction for the product or product line. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Three (3) years of prior experience in product management, application engineering, or commercial experience Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Ellisville, MO will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Preferred qualifications: Proficiency in UL and NEC codes Electrical industry experience Demonstrated experience in developing business strategy, planning, and budgeting, analytical skills Experience in developing product roadmaps, positioning strategy, price management, value proposition development, and product launches. Business development or acquisition experience Position Criteria: Able to work independently and innovatively to meet the overall goals of the Product Line. Ability to engage in highly technical sales, Strong presentation and training capabilities Possesses broad understanding of electrical markets and works with the sales team to maintain this intelligence Possesses a broad understanding of customers in the electrical safety market Possesses a general understanding of current company manufacturing technologies and relies on manufacturing engineering to stay abreast of the latest technologies We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
