Eaton’s Critical Power and Digital Infrastructure Division is seeking a Product Manager to execute our Electrical Vehicle Charging Software strategic growth initiatives! This position has a preferred location in Raleigh, NC. Candidates can also be in Peachtree City, GA or Pittsburgh, PA. If residing outside 50 miles of the posted locations, relocation will be offered. This person will be responsible for creating and executing our EV Charging software for the Americas market. Position Overview: The successful candidate for this role will possess strong business development skills with a demonstrated track record for launching products into new markets, as well as a startup mindset and ability to manage multi-discipline engagements to drive growth in a business. This role will lead the Electric Vehicle charging software growth initiative including market research, requirements definition, roadmap development, and portfolio management. They will also work closely with other global regions to align roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and application expertise. They will also work closely with existing product line management and R&D engineering organizations to ensure alignment on roadmap with the broader portfolio. They will also work closely with the global team to algin roadmap, technology, and to-market approaches across the globe. In this function you will: Conduct market analysis to deeply understand our customers and EV infrastructure, to turn actionable insights into winning product executions Use analytics data that inform the success of products and features Synthesize and evangelize market needs about the business, market, and our customers to the rest of the organization Act as product owner, working closely with software R&D & dev teams to deliver user centric products Align globally on a shared vision on priorities across the portfolio Contribute to the strategic plan, product roadmaps, and profit / growth plans (organic & inorganic). Effectively plan and execute the go-to-market strategy in alignment with the strategic plan. Provide application expertise on EV charging software specifications, competitive evaluation, and product requirements needed to ensure product line success. Effectively communicate internally and externally the product’s value proposition. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited educational institution. Minimum of 7 years of technical marketing, strategic planning, product management, and/or engineering experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering leadership / project management / product marketing / or business development required. Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: Prior experience with EV Charging systems / Software product management Demonstrated success leading a diverse project team MBA or MS degree in engineering or business from an accredited institution Ability to lead strategically and develop new business Position Criteria: Ability to think and act strategically Strong learning agility Strong management and cross-functional management capabilities Ability to conduct market research to understand customer needs. Strong data analytics capabilities and business modeling skills. Ability to multitask, complete projects with tight deadlines and proven product management experience. Good balance of technical and commercial acumen. Must be experienced in competitive benchmarking of features and price, new product requirement definition, business plan development, value proposition development, new product launch, forecasting Must also be experienced with customer meetings / presentations / development as well as delivering presentations to large groups. Ability to work in a matrix organization, in virtual teams (across different locations), and cross-cultural environments Ability to learn, articulate, and support complex products and technologies Excellent presentation, verbal and written skills, and collaborative style.
