Eaton’s Power Components Division is currently seeking a Product Manager, Relays & Meters to join our team. This position is based at our Moon Township, PA facility. Relocation to those currently residing in the U.S will be provided. Position Overview: The Product Manager for Relays and Meters has the opportunity to expand an IoT evolution towards fully-connected, always-communicating, software-enabled electrical infrastructure products. This role specifically manages and communicates the roadmaps for Low Voltage (LV) Protective Relays, Medium Voltage (MV) Protective Relays, and LV Meters, so close coordination with Vendors and ODMs is a critical responsibility. You will be a key player in the recommendations required to establish and execute a vision for intelligent power management. The Product Manager will develop compelling customer value propositions for product updates, create requirements and use-case stories, lead product application documentation, and encourage training activities to expand product use within key industry verticals. Close coordination with suppliers, supply chains and order processing groups is necessary. Achieving sales growth of the product portfolio is a core responsibility. To accomplish this, tthis role works cross-functionally to develop product positioning and messaging that optimizes sales, profitability, and market share aligned to strategic and financial objectives and delight our customers. In this function you will: Work closely with field sales, engineering service, and internal & external customers to identify and deliver new sales opportunities and initiatives. Drive new sales growth across multiple channels, including OEM, Data Center & Industrial Segments. Identify and develop strategic partner relationships such as vendors and systems integrators to develop complimentary tools to integrate our products into larger systems. Spearhead marketing efforts, including the development of supporting marketing collateral, such as presentations, new product launch materials, and catalog/system updates related to products of responsibility. Maintain responsibility for product literature content that includes features, benefits and performance data. Work with applicable business functions to ensure that the supply chain and manufacturing systems are aligned to the product strategy and are supporting growth and profitability objectives. Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years experience in product management, sales, marketing or engineering Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Preferred qualifications: MS-EE and/or MBA strongly preferred Product management and marketing knowledge. Practical experience and understanding of the electrical industry such as construction and industrial markets. Strong understanding of customer value creation and pricing theory Knowledge of market research, statistical analysis for forecasting. Basic accounting principles knowledge. Electrical market knowledge in the Protective Relays and/or Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Metering Supply Chain and/or Vendor Management experiences is a plus Position Criteria: Ability to work effectively in team environment and independently.
