Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Product Manager to join our team. This position is based in Woodridge, Illinois or Raleigh, NC. Position Overview: The Product Manager will be responsible for cradle to grave product management of Specialty UPS Products and Replacement Batteries for distributed IT applications. Own the customer lifecycle experience of the offering including pricing, quotation, sales support, and issue escalation. In this function you will: Increase revenues / market share and margins Partner with Marketing team to develop sales tools and marketing collateral Support sales initiatives from supporting transactional opportunities to winning large projects Perform primary and secondary market research to determine new vertical markets as well as investigating and tracking economic conditions Research market needs and trends via Market Reports, VoC, Focus Groups, Customer Advisory Boards, competitive analysis to develop and own product roadmaps Identify strategic opportunities and develop strategies with sales team Identify and participate in tradeshows and conferences as well as conduct sales calls Support team initiatives for lifecycle portfolio management Lead data management activities for Specialty UPS, replacement batteries and assist other product managers with their portfolios Create and manage product and portfolio roadmaps to support product planning initiatives Lead and assist in business case creation and documentation Provide support to Engineering, Manufacturing and Service teams Participate and lead mid- and long-term forecasts in SIOP process Identify and execute initiatives for continuous improvement When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger. Qualifications Required Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution Minimum four (4) years Sales, Marketing, or Engineering experience No relocation is provided for this role.
