Position Purpose:
· To maximise the potential of the AstraZeneca Respiratory therapeutic portfolio, through professional and successful working relationship with internal and external customers
· To manage the promotion, pricing and positioning of the products in the Respiratory therapeutic portfolio, including effective resource allocation, in order to optimise sales and profits.
· To strategise, write and implement the marketing plan in relation to the brand.
Key Performance Areas:
· Responsibility for delivery of National Sales Targets
· A&P and personal variable cost management
· Acquire and maintain specific knowledge on all areas related to the success of the product portfolio
· Close cooperation with the Brand Team in the development of promotional campaigns and the professional presentation of campaigns to the RSM and Representatives involved in promotion
· Drive rigorous market insight generation based on robust analysis of market data to ensure that well informed strategic decisions are made. Managing an accurate forecasting system ensuring optimal stock levels
· Responsible for generating annual sales and expense budgets
· Establish and maintain strong customer relationships
· Personal effectiveness
· Team effectiveness

Minimum Requirements:
· Minimum of 2-3 year’s Marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical and/or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industries with a proven track record
· Product Management preferred
· Sales Management will be advantageous
· A demonstrated ability to network, build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and ability to work cross-functionally.
· The candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification.
· The successful candidate would be expected to travel both locally and Internationally
