Our Position

As AstraZeneca Canada evolves its digital transformation, it is pivotal to establish a strong digital pipeline of products to enhance and elevate the health care practitioner (HCP) customer experience like never before. As brand teams create omnichannel experiences, digital health solutions and technology-based health partnerships, strong digital and mobile tools are needed to evolve to include personalization and dynamic content. As a patient-centric organization we also need to find the right platforms and tools that can bring value and needed solutions for this customer group.

As Product Manager – Technology & Innovation, working within the Marketing Innovation & Digital Excellence team reporting directly to the Senior Product Manager, you will have an enormous opportunity to execute the best digital tools to create the most dynamic and personalized experiences for our customers and patients. You will be the technology partner to all 3 Business Units (CVRM, R&I and ONC) as well as Scientific Affairs, collecting requirements and collaborating with local and global IT as well as with other cross-functional partners to execute solutions that drive business impact using systems like Adobe, Veeva and UserTesting.com.

We are looking for a candidate who is the perfect fusion between marketing and technology. Someone who is an out of the box thinker and can figure out solutions to problems using digital capabilities. Someone who can evaluate technology platforms brought to them and at the same time scan the digital landscape and bring forward products and platforms that would bring value to our organization.

The right candidate will bring a good mix of experience within product management, brand relationship management and project management with a roll-up-your-sleeves entrepreneurial approach. We want a go-getter who can not only serve our brand teams but can be that digital consultant and partner to help them achieve their strategic business goals.

  • Technology partner to business units (CVRM & R&I or ONC) as well as Scientific Affairs when needed to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Evolve existing channels in email and web while also working with Global to see what new platforms can be localized for Canada

  • Lead in content tagging and gathering digital metrics to report back to business

  • Lead on usertesting.com platform – building campaigns and reporting back results to encourage a test and learn culture

  • Working with IT, develops detailed business requirements, user stories and product specifications

  • Assists in investigating partnerships between AstraZeneca and potential 3rd parties to support patients and the health care community while still driving the organizations business objectives

  • You will build strong relationships with various customer groups globally and locally, developing a keen understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction

  • In partnership with Brand and Omnichannel teams, will help support and provide technical guidance on omni campaigns in conjunction with Global IT

  • Responsible for collecting and reporting Adverse Events in accordance with AstraZeneca policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • 3 years of Digital Product Management experience, ideally in the healthcare, retail or financial sectors

  • College diploma or certification in technology or digital marketing. Bachelors' degree is desirable

  • Experience launching new digital products in the consumer, health or pharma space is an asset

  • Partner management experience

  • Deep understanding of different technical cloud platforms like Adobe and Veeva

  • Demonstrated track record in delivering end-to-end solutions in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders to align to new business models and initiatives
