Job Description
  • Job Responsibilities

    • Facilitate the Commercial Business Planning activities for New Product Introductions & ensure oversight of the effective execution of the local commercial launch activities to deliver Financial / Business Plan & Division Strategy for the respective elements of the Product Portfolio.
    • Ownership for the Monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) New Product Planning Process.  Drive process on a Monthly basis to ensure establishment of “One set of numbers”.  Ensure clear transparency to New Product and Retirement Demand Management Statement which will enable sustainable and predictable delivery on IBP / LBE Commitment at Country, Region, Area and Division Level.    
    • Accountable to deliver an accurate Demand Plan for prospective sales and service equipment for an 18 Month prospective Horizon.  Plan to be based on assignable documented assumptions.
    • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Operations & Marketing, to access Month to Month changes and identification of potential Opportunities and Vulnerabilities on Commercial Revenue, Margin and Cashflow.  Working with the relevant Commercial Stakeholders, establish cross-functional contingency plans to exploit Opportunities and mitigate Vulnerabilities.  In turn ensure timely and effective communication and close-out of Key Decisions Made, Elevations and Action Items arising from the relevant Review Processes.
    • Responsible for Division Alinity ci & Alinity h Pricing and Profitability governance and approval process.
    • Collaborates with Global and Area Profitability Stakeholders to drive revenue, margin and cashflow optimization in Compliance with Division Alinity ci & Alinity h Guidance. 
    • Ensure full alignment with the assigned Commercial key point contact for Regulatory Affairs relative to In-Country registration processes for all New Product and Retirement planning activities.
    • Primary lead for Commercial Planning activities relative to the New Product Forecast by Country (Demand Management Statement)
    • Primary partner with Supply Chain (Operations) Demand Planning Organization to ensure             
      • Full alignment on New Product Forecast / Plan being developed for Ramp Up / Ramp Down
      • Alignment to New Product Ramp Up / Ramp Down Execution
      • Full close out of all Variances
      • Oversight of Adjustments to be made to plans, to ensure alignment, between Global Supply Chain and Marketing / Commercial
      • Lessons Learnt are being applied to the Process
    • Enable aforce as the System of record for Prospective Business Opportunities relative to Product Transition (New Product & Retirement). 
    • Working with Commercial Operations Excellence Team at Area and Sales Excellence Teams at Country / Region Level to identify Process or Learning Gaps and implement improvement plans Establish appropriate metrics to monitor and support Flawless Execution.
    • Responsible for aforce adoption / usage completeness & accuracy relative to Product Transition Opportunities and IBP forecast accuracy.
    • Key Commercial partner with both Marketing and Finance Teams to establish Business Cases for all active product projects throughout the Product Lifecycle Stage and Gate Process.

    Educational Background

    • Bachelor’s degree

    Requirements / Experience

    • 6+ years of total business experience
    • Demonstrated experience in program management ether in commercial or supply chain organizations.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
    • Superior analytical skills and strategic thinking mindset.
    • Demonstrated ability to interface with all levels of management and to influence change.
    • 2+ years of experience integrating information from multiple sources to prepare analysis and recommendation for senior manager review and approval.
