As a Product Manager you will be responsible for delivering growth and profitability of the Industrial Controls and Protection Division Product portfolio. This includes managing the Automation product portfolio within a Product Line and collaborating closely with Sales, Marketing, Segments, Business Development, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality at a divisional, regional and global level. Your key deliverables : Gather Voice Of Customer (VOC) on market trends and needs Gather / analyze actions of competitors Stay current with emerging technology and competitive trends Advocate for customers / segments internally Maintain industry involvement & drive codes and standards Develop Strategic Plans, product roadmaps, segment and end user application focused product management team capable of delivering the growth expectations of the business. Create Forecast and growth initiatives and projections. Effectively plan a Go-to-Market strategy, supporting Strategic Plans as growth platform and hit the ramp-up target. Oversee (measure and manage) the Product Line business performance and drive End-to-End profitable long-term sales growth of the Product Line (Profit Plan) Define product roadmaps based on VOC for new products and upgrades; transition and retire products. Drive alignment of a marketing strategy with global product line (GPL) where it applies. Define and lead product promotion activities. Manage the latter stages of product lifecycle (aftermarket, obsolescence) Guide development or upgrade of Product/Service offers Collaborate with R&D on development projects Define strategic pricing policies for Product Line, based on value pricing Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s Degree; electrical engineering preferred Minimum of 5 years product management and/or business management experience in a matrix organization Understanding of Automation/Electronics markets and products Demonstrated experience in developing business strategy, planning, and budgeting, analytical skills Demonstrated experience in developing product roadmaps, positioning strategy, price management, value proposition development, and product launches Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth in a highly technical sales environment Strong presentation and training capabilities Experience in working with engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, and sales functions on coordinated plans and strategies Fluency in German and English Desired: MBA degree What Eaton offers: Competitive compensation and benefits package Contract in fast growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Great promotional opportunities – We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible #LI-AW1 We make what matters work.
