Position Overview:
As ADI expands into new power product and market segments, the Industrial Multi-Markets Business Unit is looking for a highly skilled Senior Product Marketing Director who will be responsible for technical product promotion of state-of-the-art power ICs that target industrial and multi-market segments.
As a Senior Product Marketing Director, you will:
- Release products and promotion activities including pricing and quoting, technical collateral and advertise to support new products, as well as support products throughout the product lifecycle
- Work closely with multi-market segment teams and sales and field applications engineers and identify opportunities to define and execute on new projects. Drive sales and customer engagement to grow the opportunity pipeline.
- Manage support of customer requirements for existing products, track opportunity status, and understand the business needs for maintaining competitive edge and profitability
- Manage teams of Applications, Marketing and Product Definition functions and collaborate with IC design and other engineering functions on product strategy, roadmap and product definitions. build a pipeline of product ideas and maintain the priority of the idea pipeline for the new developments
- Plan and participate in customer visits to identify market needs, work on pricing proposals, and serve an integral part of growing the product line
- Track major opportunities and market forecasts, monitor the competitive environment, and conveyance of same to internal stakeholders
What you need to be successful in this role:
- Possess a business acumen combined with an understanding of DC-DC converters, LDOs and References
- Knowledge of switching regulators and overall Power products is highly preferred
- Familiarity with application use cases and market experience is needed
- Technical Marketing experience is a must
- Experience working cross-functionally across sales, marketing, applications, product definition and program management organizations with proven ability to communicate effectively, problem solve, and work as a team
Requirements:
- BSEE degree or equivalent relevant experience
- A minimum of 10-15 years of related and progressive experience
