Job Description
#### Position Description:


Responsible for achieving the Region’s Unit & Financial goals by bringing the
product to market and driving adoption of it in region/country.
• Sales enablement
• Developing product positioning and messaging that differentiates products in
the market
• Responsible for market scoping, identifying the product/business
requirements supporting the strategy, scoping the product for a business
perspective
• Working with the tech team to ensure development and deployment of the
product and supporting the sales/business development team from a product
pitch/sales perspective
• A Keen sense of how products are positioned in the online space and how to
drive reviews/ratings in a positive manner


• Launch Planning and Execution
• Effectively managing & driving Launches, Transitions, and End-of-Life
programs.
• Engagement with Tech bloggers, reviewers, and people who drive perception
about the products in online/social media
• Creating pre-buzz, 360 degree marketing across various mediums for enable
successful product launches
• Understanding of offline retail stores: sales techniques, promoter training
requirements, POSM, NPPI, demo deployment, etc
• Demand generation
• Being able to accurately judge actions by completion and their impact on the
product portfolio and future demand/sales of the products
• Implementing Regional demand generation programs (tie product plans to
business execution)
• Ensuring accurate forecasting for relevant products; co-owner (with Sales)
for the region's forecast
• Evaluating performance against plan at appropriate intervals (e.g., daily,
weekly) & instigate corrective actions to keep on track to achieve goals.
• Providing relevant input to the annual & quarterly planning cycles on key
financials (Units, AUR, AUM, Rev$, Margin$).

• Market Research
• Determining customer needs through participation in Sales & Customer
meetings. Design market research projects to assess customer attitudes to the
current product range and new product introductions and recommend action plans
from the research
• Identify Key competitor trends and provide feedback on competitive "price:
spec"; working with the product/pricing/marketing team to help arrive at
appropriate product positioning and messaging.

• Sales communication
• Communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and
develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
• Responsible for providing the sales team with the necessary technical
expertise to enable them to sell the product. This involves printed and
electronic promotional material, product training, and train the trainer
programs.
• Understanding of Digital marketing methods, and how to drive marketing on
online platforms.

• Product Planning
• Work with the ecosystem partners to develop the product requirement from a
business perspective and work closely with the product development team to
ensure the product is made and enhanced continuously as per the requirement
• Understanding of ODM working on product development, time to market,
forecasting, planning and ordering cycles, and terms and conditions involved
in working with ODM’s.

#### Position Requirements:


• Must Have: Graduate across any discipline, Post graduate preferred from a
Tier-1 B School
• Knowledge / Work experience in the Handset industry is preferred
5-8 years of experience with at least 3 years handling product / marketing /
sales of electronic products. Candidates with exposure to e-commerce platforms
will be preferred.
• Strong Business Acumen
• Ability to multi-task, research and analyze different broker, distribution
and retail situations
•  Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language
• Very strong communication skills
• Creative flair and enthusiasm for new ideas and concepts
• Good project management skills
•  Product knowledge and merchandizing
• Strong numerical abilities
• Understanding of marketing techniques online and offline
