We are seeking a Product Manager in the Global Professional Services Organization who is able to collaborate cross-functionally with individuals and teams of various types, a strategic and product-driven problem solver, laser focused on developing great customer experiences (developer, merchant, and consumer) on web and mobile platforms, a strong communicator, and passionate about powerful yet simple payment experiences. In this role, you will partner with diverse teams to execute, evaluate, optimize and scale product integration best practices across markets and segments to deliver user friendly experiences that drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Drive a cohesive, end-to-end strategy and vision for Global Professional Services for developer experiences. Identify a strong POV, drive execution collaboratively and cross-functionally to make concepts a reality. Identify opportunities for thought leadership within the developer community, develop tactical solutions, and execute a strategic vision that can scale with Product teams.
  • Be the subject matter expert on how customers and developers interact with PayPal, manage their integrations, and prioritize PayPal. Understand end user problems as well as competitive and market trends in the developer space. Leverage insights to drive strong decision-making and execution of developer products, features and experiences.
  • Iterate and prioritize developer products, features and experiences with Product teams. Gather requirements from GPS stakeholders and support in feature prioritization with product and development teams. Work with UX designers to define use cases and related experiences. Influence product roadmaps and development time. Activate developer partners as advocates.
  • Develop deep partnership with diverse teams – Integration, Product, Engineering, Go-To-Market, Product Marketing, Program Management – and drive toward a comprehensive understanding of our developer products and features and where we can drive deeper developer engagement and activation. Amplify PayPal’s developer value prop and mission. Tie all workstreams together – Demo Portal, APEX, tools, documentation, content, etc.
  • Promote platform thinking by extending PayPal’s developer products and experiences to meet new vertical and segment needs. Support growth and development of the Systems Integrator community. Develop, launch and scale a product integration certification program for internal and external developers to enforce product integration standards.
  • Focus on enablement to scale through comprehensive resources that provide clear and detailed processes including integration checklists, product battle cards, solution selling playbooks, etc. Own best practices on Developer, optimize PayPal developer resources and experiences. Implement “Open Dev Day” to foster collaboration, learning new skills and innovation.
  • Drive key performance metrics in alignment with the GPS leadership.

  • Influence and lead – ability to interface and build relationships with cross-functional teams (engineers, UX researchers & designers, product analysts, business owners, marketers, sales, integration, and legal teams) and external developers; opportunities to mentor
  • Project management – ability to successfully manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Relevant experience ­– understanding of technology, development, and ecommerce
  • Minimal travel – Less than 25% travel expected for the position
