Role Summary: Responsible for designing, developing and testing software to create industrial internet products and services tailored to the needs of the GE businesses and external customers. Comprehensive in-depth understanding of complex and highly technical concepts and principles in the own part of the function. Strong knowledge of technical concepts in technologies that intersect with own technical space.
Essential Responsibilities: - After training, to know perfectly how to tests the optical sensors, including current Faraday ring-glass sensor and voltage Pockels cell sensor, following accurately procedures and methods. All steps must be fully mastered, including manipulation of current and voltage sources (Omicron)

• After training, to be able to perform: accuracy tests, linearity tests, temperature dependence tests. These tests must confirm the good operation of the sensors and define a file of coefficients to set in the final XMU-860 associated to the CMO system.
• To be able to develop optical sensor sub-components controlling benches and ensure their global functionality.
• To learn the Standards (IEC 61859) for Instruments Transformers and to be able to apply the criteria on our testing benches
• To be able to show and to make training for subcontractors to perform the previous tasks.
• To be able to supervise the work of the technician and to ensure the quality of their work.
• Task scope may expand following team development

Qualifications/Requirements: - 10 years’ experience or more (35-40 years old) in R&D or testing field

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power system automation or electronics)
• Excellent English spoken and written skills
• Able to travel in a foreign country (France, Germany, USA, etc.)
