YOU ARE ALL ABOUT CHINESE MARKETPLACES AND DIGITAL DEVELOPMENT
As a high skilled Product Owner China Platforms & Marketplaces you will take responsibility for the vision and digital development roadmap of our China platform & marketplaces developments like Tmall Global, Domestic, WeChat Mini Program, Little Red Book and Douyin. We are constantly adding new features and functionalities, updating the platform, and making sure it lives up to our high standards of our Chinese consumer. This matches you as Product Owner China Platforms & Marketplaces with an entrepreneurial mindset. For 40 hours per week, you:
- Are responsible for creating and managing a prioritised backlog, kickstarting roadmap projects and involving the right parties at the right time.
- Set the pace of a project, the planning, and determine the milestones within the project.
- Make sure that the roadmaps are aligned and discuss dependencies with our Chinese technical partners.
- Maximize value in the development sprints, working closely with the UX team, Digital China team and the external Chinese development teams.
- Make sure you fully understand business value of all projects and that stakeholders are well updated on lead times, scope and release planning.
- Take pride in an organized development train, including release planning, end-to-end testing with all collaborating teams and guarding the quality of the project.
- Be part of an eager and diverse team, where empowering your colleagues (and vice versa) is part of the deal.

But also stepping into the Domestic Chinese playing field where there are no boundaries for our customers nor Rituals.
In addition, you can design the Digital Development Roadmap for all Chinese platforms & Marketplaces Rituals. But you are also able to design your own sustainable and personal wellbeing roadmap.

THIS IS YOU

You are also 'one of a kind' because of your analytical way of thinking. In addition, you are as Product Owner Chinese platforms and marketplaces a great communicator and are able to just ‘go’ without being told what to do exactly. You proactively spot opportunities and align with the right people to explore technical solutions. And on top of it, you have:
- Minimal of 5 years of PO experience in a comparable position in an e-commerce environment
- Highly organized skills with excellent organizational and communication skills
- In depth knowledge of Chinese (e.g. Tencent, Alibaba, ByteDance - relevant players, typical standards, user behavior) product eco-system Tmall Global and Local, WeChat Mini Program, Little Red Book and Douyin.
- Result-driven and people-oriented and positive and pragmatic mindset
- Working knowledge of project management (SCRUM)
- Ability to work outside of the beaten track
- You speak Chinese and English and have a good understand of the Chinese market (big plus)
