Be part of our team as Product Owner – Digital Services (Aviation/Airport Logistics) in Dubai, UAE. What are my responsibilities? Work closely with relevant stakeholders, especially with the Head Portfolio of Digital Services. Refine the requirements and outcomes in the own scope and gain an understanding of the respective customer value. Create and maintain the team backlog, add new requirements & user stories as team backlog items, define acceptance criteria, and rank team backlog items. Consider quality attributes (e.g. usability, security, safety), incl. regulatory and legal aspects. Participate in sprint planning and sprint review meetings. Set up and maintain product risk management. Work closely with the team to clearly communicate the customer needs, and help and motivate the team by presenting and explaining the product backlog items. Evaluate and accept the work results, based on defined acceptance and done criteria. Continuously exchange good practices and collaborate within the organization. Work in cross-functional teams to overcome silo thinking by leveraging internal and/or external networks and ecosystems. You have a solid background with early customer validation in rapid learn-build-test cycles with a focus on achieving customer value. Execute trend scouting, search and evaluate “white space innovation ideas” in regards to their future business potential. Work ideation based on opportunities of digitalization business to fully exploit the potential of digitalization business. Collaborate in co-creation with sales, R&D, Product Management, and customers with a focus on customer experience/journey and the development of sales channel approaches. Maintain technical expertise on all new digitalization products, tools, and systems. What do I need to qualify for the role? A Master’s Degree in Computer or Data Science or Business Administration with an IT focus. Minimum 5 years of experience in SaaS Operations, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). At least 2 years of up-to-date practical experience in developing and using domain models or business process modeling. You are able to assess the trends, derive solution scenarios and identify the most promising innovation activities with your market knowledge & expertise. Knowledge of Elastic Stack (ELK), Docker, Node.js and Mongo DB is a plus. You are outstanding in the field of strategic thinking and acting, inviting others to challenge their ideas and contributing to strategic change. You are no stranger to building and maintaining lasting and effective working relationships based on mutual trust and respect. Able to recognize the importance of cultural differences and the interplay between individual and culture in all its forms and the situation.
