Product Owner / Software Architect (remote CT and ET zones) We are looking for a self-motivated person with a deep understanding of cloud, use cases, architectures, workflow and ecosystem. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to a the role. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. In this position you will work closely with all business lines and centers within GBS (Global Business Services) with subject matter experts, project managers, application owners and the data team. Direct key stakeholder contacts include Digitalization & Innovation Head, GBS Business Lines (Demand Management), Internal and external implementation partners (e.g. Microsoft, AWS, Google) and vendors as well as IT. You will design digital solutions driving digital transformation of our own operations and those of our customers across different technology domains such as advanced analytics, data science / engineering, business process management, low-code, RPA and AI. Which tasks should you perform? Together with GBS Business lines, you advise our customers with your profound technology solution architecture competencies and agile project management and/or consulting experience. You will Work with large, complex data sets and applying advanced analytical methods as needed, Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets, Run PoCs and Pilots projects to investigate and prove the feasibility and benefits of the proposed solutions. You are responsible for the overall solution design & architecture from the idea to successful go-live of our customer use cases. You are running technical deep dive and architecture sessions with customers, partners and our DevOps teams. You are actively shaping digital use cases by creating & communicating the technical solution architecture in close collaboration with the cross-functional product & customer teams including software engineers, UX designers and business process experts. You provide architectural guidance for new solutions and services across different technology domains and ensure their compliance with the existing architectural landscape. You advise customers on architectural decisions considering our digital solutions such as AWS, ServiceNow, Snowflake, Mendix. You facilitate stakeholder alignment via close collaboration with management levels in HQ and regions. Which conditions should you meet? You have a successfully completed university degree in Computer Science or other equivalent disciplines and at least 7+ years of experience. You have good leadership skills and deep technical skills in software architecture and cloud computing. With your customer facing skills, ideally gained within a partner/consulting organization, you inspire your peers for new technologies and processes. You have a solid understanding on enterprise and cloud integration patterns, integration platform and technologies. Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment, often with conflicting or changing priorities High affinity for market-leading technical solutions (e.g. AWS, Celonis, Mendix) Experience of design and implementation of market-leading technical solutions Experience and knowledge in technology domains such as advanced analytics, data science, ML/AI, business process management, RPA and low code platforms is of advantage, Understanding of API protocols and architectures, Awareness of cloud architectures and applications, SAP/HANA You can multitask in a fast-changing environment and bring high-energy, you have analytical thinking and project management ability (Agile delivery, CI/CD, DevOps, IaC).
