Objective of job (abbreviated)
The Product Owner for digital software solutions works together with highly motivated agile and cross location software development teams, to bring great products to life! The work will focus in different key areas from Daimler, like digitalization from retail processes (OTR+), connected solutions (CASE) and digital services for end customers.
The objectives of a Product Owner for Digital Software Solutions are:
•Define the product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities
oBring in innovation and out-of-box ideas
oInterface with business stakeholders and define product roadmap together
•Negotiate priorities, scope, funding, and schedule
oTranslate the business demands into concepts of digital solutions, define requirements and then prioritize tasks
•Lead the product release plans and sets expectation for deliveryof new functionalities
oEnsure the solutons and integration fit in existing Daimer ecosystem.
oEnsure close communication and collaboration with business (local and HQ), internal partners of relevant systems (local and HQ)
•Ensure that the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear
•Keep the stakeholders in loop with development process, demonstrate solutions and feedback
oGive product showcases through interactive demo and required documents oCommunicate team status and organize milestone reviews
oEnsures the final product quality meets business and customer expectations
•Act as escalation point for client issues that require product change resolution oActively participate in mitigating impediments which impacts successful completion of release/ sprint goals
Task description
•Work as a bridge to cross location development teams and local business units
•Understand current business process and develop new process together with cross-function team
•Collect and consolidate demands from business units
•Analyse business demands and translate it into concepts of digital products & solutions (including writing user stories
•Provide IT expertise for implementation
•Build up product vision and prioritize iterations
•Conduct proof of concept development together with the team, review with business unit for finalization
•Conduct testing together with business unit and deliver the product
•Ensure smooth execution of project (Time management, status check, coordination with other parties, report to management)
•Apply and manage appropriate agile tools & methods during development (Jira/Confluence; stand up/scrum; etc.)
•Representing TSS, playing a key role in team and project collaboration
•Planning ressources, to ensure resources are utilized in a smart way and they can deliver product with high efficiency in terms of time and cost.
•Ensure all the solutions are compliant in terms of IT security, IT policy and company policy requirements
