Ensures that BAU product & financial risk management tasks are conducted such as ALM & balance sheet monitoring, product pricing review and performance, reinsurance; provides guidance and advisory on risks and controls in product related areas such as product risk profiling and product development, approval and monitoring governance

• Develop and implement risk management framework for insurance, reinsurance and product-related risk management
• Provide risk oversight of actuarial function, product development, pricing and portfolio monitoring including conduct of independent testing and assurance
• Work closely with first line stakeholders to develop solutions to ensure proactive management of risk exposures to support AIA's strategy
• Other product and financial risk activities which may be assigne

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Economics or Business with over 5 years of solid work experience in the financial industry handling financial and product risks, investments or actuarial, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Associate of the ASP or the SOA, preferably CERA track
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-motivated, independent and able to work under pressure
• Organized, analytical with good level of problem solving skills, strategic and tactical knowledge
• Good understanding of process management and design, change management, internal controls and risk management
• High level of integrity and take ownership and accountability of results
