Product Sales Associate

Position Summary:

Are you looking to break into the exciting and lucrative field of software sales? Virtuosity, a division of Bentley Systems, is hiring entry level Business Development Representatives for its Irvine office. This dynamic position will expose you to all stages of the sales cycle and teach you how to become an effective hunter and closer in the SAAS industry. Hone your sales skills as you work with a fantastic team selling a great product.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Make outbound calls as directed by manager to assist with business development in assigned region
  • Produce and send personalized emails that generate interest in the company and its products
  • Research potential prospects online and nurture those leads to create a strong, targeted sales pipeline
  • Qualify leads per the defined Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) criteria, and handoff to the appropriate Sales colleague once an SQL is achieved
  • Proactively respond to all inbound webchat requests and ensure a positive experience for the potential customer
  • Utilize social media and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to drive lead generation
  • Adhere to the Bentley Sales Process fully utilizing the HubSpot CRM platform and inputting all relevant data to allow for accurate reporting
  • Support lead and opportunity generation activities within the region
  • Follow up with past declined leads to determine if opportunity still exists
  • Diligently follow up with and manage sales leads and opportunities
  • Recruit and drive attendance of new prospects and leads to webinars and various Bentley events
  • Maintain flexibility and enthusiasm in a dynamic and ever-changing environment
  • Complete sales related admin functions as directed by assigned manager
  • Develop a strong appreciation and deep understanding of how to effectively support assigned sales team and manager.
  • Have a strong desire and high level of commitment to helping ensure that assigned sales team meets defined sales goals

 

What You Bring to The Team:

  • 1 to 3 years of previous sales or cold-calling experience, or a polished professional looking to break into technology sales.
  • Experience in conducting cold calling, sales campaigns, email marketing, or a desire to learn and compete.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively present written and verbal information to users and prospects via phone and email.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with various internal teams.
  • Technically adept, self-motivated and driven by results.
  • Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive
  • A strong desire to have a career in sales
