Eaton’s Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Product Sales Manager to join our team. The position will be based in Irvine, CA, Cleveland, OH, or Fort Worth, TX Position Overview: Eaton’s Aerospace’s Fuel & Motion Control Systems Division is currently seeking a Product Sales Manager to develop growth strategies and lead new business capture pursuits for a portfolio of product lines within the Fuel Systems business. Reporting to the Product Line Director, the Product Sales Manager will be responsible for managing new OEM program opportunities from opportunity qualification through capture, proposal, and award. These activities include opportunity pipeline management, early customer engagement activities, complex technical selling, developing capture strategies, leading business cases and gate reviews, and overall leadership of proposals from RFI / RFP through contract negotiation and award. The position is an individual contributor role but will be hands on and will involve cross functional leadership. The position will be based in Irvine, California, Cleveland, Ohio, or Fort Worth, TX. In this function you will: Builds and manages a healthy new business development pipeline for a portfolio of product lines Performs market analysis, identifies opportunities, and monitors competitor activity for each capture Manages early customer engagement activities, assesses needs and goals, and provides solutions that align with Eaton’s product strategies by influencing requirements in advance of RFPs Develops win strategies to capture new business on OEM platforms Leads multi-site capture efforts ranging from small component opportunities to large, complex fuel systems packages Provides VOC input and recommends R&D investments to product development team May lead commercial readiness level activities to support new product launches Evaluates and recommends bid and no bid decisions Leads proposal management activities, including Gates reviews, pricing strategies, and proposal submittal. Supports contract negotiation and award. When we embrace the different ideas, perspectives and backgrounds that make each of us unique, we — as individuals and as a company — are stronger Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 5 years of professional Aerospace & Defense experience required 3 years in either marketing, business development, sales, engineering, or program management This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must be U.S. persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines a U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. ‘Green Card Holder’), Political Asylee, or Refugee. No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates currently residing within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Irvine, CA, Cleveland, OH, or Fort Worth, TX will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
