What You'll Do
Lenovo Data Center Group’s (DCG’s) Product Security Office (PSO) is seeking a
candidate who thrives working (socially distanced) in physical and virtual lab
environments to assemble, rack, configure, manage, and run + analyze security
scans for pre-release data center hardware, firmware, and software. The
successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced team
environment, working with global teams, and capable of working multiple
projects of differing durations and complexities in parallel.
This is a new position which supports Lenovo DCG’s growing and evolving
product security needs, joining an established team responsible for securing
an expanding product portfolio. This position is well suited to candidates
that thrive on solving new and unique problems, have a healthy curiosity,
enjoy working with varied technologies, are comfortable taking ownership of
technical solutions, and have a passion for learning about security and data
center technologies.
#### Position Requirements:
Basic Requirements:
• Associate’s degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science,
Information Technology , Information Security, or Management Information
Systems
• 1 year of demonstrated experience working hands-on assembling, racking,
configuring, managing, and securing data center hardware
• 1 year of demonstrated experience running and interpreting results from
automated security scan tools such as Intel CHIPSEC, Netsparker, Synopsys
Black Duck Binary Analysis, and Tenable Nessus (period may overlap time spent
working with data center hardware)
• Remediating and working with global teams to remediate security scan tool
results
• Data center hardware troubleshooting
• Application installation and configuration
• Linux, VMware, and Windows operating system and basic system administration
experience
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking fundamentals

• Critical thinking, analytical ability, and problem solving
• Good verbal and written communication skills
