As a Product Security Engineer, you will partner with the Product Security Assurance team to learn how to identify security vulnerabilities in our own products, including embedded systems and software applications. You will work with the product teams to educate them regarding product security and ensure the vulnerabilities identified are corrected. You will play an integral role as a member of ADI’s Security Practice team helping to keep our products and our customers’ products secure.

 

Specific Responsibilities / Duties:

  • Liaise with Product Teams within ADI across multiple market segments
  • Identify Security Vulnerabilities in embedded systems, and work with product teams to remediate issues or define mitigations in a cost-effective manner
  • Execute Vulnerability Assessments

 

Previous Experience/Skills Needed & Education Requirements:

  • BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Information/Computer Security, Computer Science or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of Information Security concepts
  • Understanding of how to read and identify issues in the following language classes (all are preferred, at least one area is required)
    • Native Languages (C, C++, Assembly)
    • Managed Languages (C#, Java, etc.)
    • Interpreted Languages (Python, Ruby, Shell, etc.)
    • Hardware Definition Languages (RTL, VHDL, Verilog, etc.) - Preferred
