What You’ll Do
The Product Security Architect will work in Lenovo product security office and
be responsible for implementing and improving upon existing product security
development processes, procedures, tools and guidelines across Lenovo to
assure product security quality and retain customers’ trust. This includes:
• Maintain Lenovo secure development lifecycle methodology based on standards,
best practices and industry research
• Increase capability maturity of Lenovo product security program
• Assist new business units deploying Secure Development Lifecycle, and
establish product security controls
• Work in active partnership with product security leads and stakeholders to
develop and promote secure design patterns and technical standards for IOT,
web, mobile, cloud applications and digital services.
• Evangelize secure design principles and best practices throughout the Secure
Software – include BIOS, firmware, application software - Development
Lifecycle.
• Develop training material and perform general security awareness training to
application teams based on known vulnerability or defect data.
• Lead projects to drive the assessment, operationalization and adoption of
new technologies, platforms and tools.
• Facilitate and improve cybersecurity processes including incident
management, configuration management, threat and vulnerability management
• Assist sale teams in customers’ security inquiries.

#### Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of software development, architecture, or related experience
• 3+ years of experience in developing or adopting software security best
practice
• CSSLP certification
Preferred Qualifications:
• Expert knowledge of Secure Development Lifecycle methodology and secure
development best practices. Familiarity with cybersecurity threats,
countermeasures, and issues
• Strong understanding of software product security issues, mitigation
solutions
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threats, countermeasures, and issues.
• Ability to work independently as well as function as an integral part of a
team, take initiative ownership in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills
• Good understanding of the Lenovo organization and ability to successfully
work across regions and functions to solve problems and get things done
• Able to balance multiple projects concurrently and manage scope changes
along the way
• CISSP, CISM certifications
