What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role you will directly report to the District Manager and will:

• Collaborate with manager to develop and implement territory Plan Of Action (POA) and key account plans;
• Evaluate progress vs. monthly plan and implement corrections liaising with manager;
• Contribute to Cluster Teams, collaborating with Medical Affairs, Key Account Manager, etc. on key account plan objectives and responsibilities;
• Engage with peers and District Manager to learn best practices;
• Demonstrate an understanding of industry and healthcare trends, of how retail practices, clinics and hospitals operate;
• Identify and gather competitive information;
• Follows through on customer commitments and requests in time;
• Report customer activity in the CRM system and ensure customer profiles are kept up-to-date;
• Demonstrate an understanding of Amgen model and platforms to satisfy customer and Amgen needs;
• Operate within the agreed expense budget aligned with POA priorities;
• Seek advise and assistance to arrange activities;
• Continuously develop and improve product knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs.

Additional accountabilities for this role are:

• Maximize Amgen’s products;
• Achieve sales targets;
• Deliver key messages;
• Collaborate with manager to implement agreed POA in line with marketing strategy;
• Identify and establish high quality customer relationships and internal collaboration;
• In-depth knowledge of the product(s), therapeutic area, market, stakeholders and competitors;
• Work within agreed budgets;
• Live the Amgen Values and operate in compliance with Amgen rules.

What we expect of you

• 5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a sales-related job;
• Relevant experience in Nephrology or Osteoporosis therapeutic areas preferred;
• Experience with products in PHT/therapeutic plans web based preferred;
• Rigorous Planning & Execution;
• Ability to work in a matrix organization;
• Knowledge in regional Access preferred;
• Knowledge of and experience in a hospital environment;
• Some experience with information systems (CRM databases and MS Office);
• Fluency in English, both in oral and written communication;
• Based in Latina or Frosinone.

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in life science or (bio) medical sciences;
• Knowledge of Customer Relation Management principles;
• Exposure to interactions with various disciplines and organizational levels;
• Exposure to project management principles.
