We’re looking for an experienced and highly capable Product Strategist and Designer to join us to identify new opportunities and develop long-term strategic plans for future product lines. We will need you to use your extensive research and analysis experience to find unserved needs and market opportunities to guide the company's product plans, and work closely with business and development units to ensure successful execution. You’ll also leverage your product design experiences to develop new service concepts and blueprints that align with business objectives and meet our customer needs. Siemens is a global organisation and as such the people you work with are also based around the world. You’ll need to be ready to collaborate with distributed teams across the world. You should expect that there will be some occasional travel. Are you ready for this? As a Product Strategist and designer, you will: • Execute strategic analysis and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding technology and financial market trends • Develop action plans for conducting internal analyses and collaborating with business partners to identify root causes for operational gaps and establish solutions • Identify and communicate changing trends as identified through analysis • Design and develop product and service concepts, and service blueprints • Implement user-centric methodologies to ensure alignment of business requirements, technological feasibility, and customer expectations • Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using analytical techniques, tools, models, simulations, etc. • Collaborate with key partners in the development and delivery of solutions. To do this you will need to • Work closely with cross-functional teams. • Serve on teams and task groups for projects/initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization. • Attend conferences, congresses, and related events to stay up to date with new technologies and identify business opportunities. We are looking for: • Strong experience in product strategy and design, preferably in a technology-driven industry. • Advanced knowledge of products, services, processes, requirements, and systems related to the business unit. • Advanced knowledge of technology and digital industry trends, products and services. • Strong analytical skills and ability to identify new opportunities. • Ability to synthesize results of analyses, develop and make recommendations and presents results to solve unique and complex problems. • Strong understanding of user experience design principles and methodologies. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to reach agreeable exchange and positive outcomes. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite. • Aptitude to work in a large corporate organization, with diverse structures and stakeholder groups.
