ADl's analog, mixed-signal, digital processors, and sensor integrated circuits (IC) play a fundamental role in converting, conditioning, and processing real-world phenomena such as audio, light, temperature, motion, and pressure into electrical signals to be used in a wide array of electronic equipment. The Product and Test Engineer will participate in a silicon development team responsible for digital audio and mixed signal data connectivity products for the Automotive market, working in a hands-on environment that fosters learning and requires innovative problem solving. Key responsibilities include:
• Participate as a member of a multi-disciplined engineering team in solving engineering product development challenges.
• Validate and debug new Integrated Circuit (IC) products.
• Develop functional and electrical tests for new products using leading edge Automated Test Equipment (ATE).
• Simulate Verilog test cases and translate to ATE for IC debug and manufacturing test.
• Perform electrical characterization of all product datasheet parameters.
• Release to volume manufacturing of innovative Automotive processing and connectivity products.
• Develop advanced IC package solutions.
• Design hardware for manufacturing test and characterization.
• Become proficient in all aspects of IC functionality, including internal circuit operation of the device and board level system/circuit interface details.
• Collaborate with other functional groups including Design, Applications, and Systems Engineering.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Reliability to ensure successful product development and release to customers.
Qualifications:
Assumes BS/MS degree in EE or ECE or equivalent relevant experience. Typically requires 0-2years related and progressive experience.
