Job Description Summary

The Production Clerk will provide administrative support to the manufacturing teams and assist the Team Leader with daily transactions.

Essential Job Functions:

• Complete transactions allocating materials to JDE work orders.
• Ordering Materials through Access Database if applicable.
• Able to demonstrate visual accuracy.
• Effectively maintain and/or implement Kanban material replenishment system for area(s) of responsibility.
• Negative Inventory tracking
• Daily efficiency tracking
• Work order reconciliation
• Cycle counts
• Provide metric update to Team Leader.
• Responsible for leading/organizing annual physical inventories in their departments.

Basic Qualifications:

• Computer skills required (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access).
• Must be able to work flexible work hours and report to work on a regular punctual basis.
• Ability to solve problems, resolve conflicts, share information and make decisions to achieve continuous improvement.

Additional Desirable Qualifications:

JDE experience a plus.

Education and/or Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED required, Associates Degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience working on the manufacturing line.

Physical Demands:

Occasionally requires light physical effort as in periods of prolonged standing, sitting at files or work tables or bending, stooping or reaching and/or occasional lifting of light items (i.e. up to 30 lbs).

Work Environment:

May require some exposure to chemicals used in manufacturing processes.  Some minor physical inconvenience or discomfort occasionally present in the work situation (moderate noise, disagreeable odors, etc.). OR occasional exposure to minor injury or other health hazard requiring some precaution.

Training Requirements:

On-the-Job, SOP’s required for position and GMP.
