Job Description
Eaton’s Electrical Division is currently seeking a Production Coordinator to join our second shift team. This position is based at our Cleveland, TN facility. In this function you will: Coordinate and facilitate production schedules (prime lines, handle inventory issues, attend shortage meetings, pull drawings and handle returns) Provide mentoring, guidance and training for employees, including new hires Work overtime as necessary Perform inventory and labor transactions as required to maintain accurate inventory counts and production status Lead, participate and support various plant and department initiatives and projects as directed, i.e. support Kanban system. This includes working in both project teams and cross-functional teams Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and work rules Assume routine responsibilities for department as assigned, i.e.complete maintenance and IT requests, handle start-up and communications between shifts Supervise the department in the supervisor’s absence Possess a working knowledge of relevant ISO procedures and work instructions as well as the Eaton MESH program Support plant quality, lean manufacturing initiatives and plant cost improvement objectives Perform regular production responsibilities as required Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
