Job Dimensions:

• Keep units running in safe situation and improve safety issue within environmental limit.

• Organize, monitor, summary, optimize and implement the general production activities in terms of safety and quality regulation under the guidance of production manager.

• Use PDCA and lean production tool to develop continuous improvement to reach better productivity

• Establish /review and update SOP in English and Chinese and regularly organize training to production team

Main Responsibilities:

• HSE

  • Ensure strict compliance with all relevant local and corporate standards, regulations and codes with continuous focus on safety, environmental, quality and productivity.

  • Regularly organize and train staff to learn SOP and safety procedures, safety education, correct the unsafe behavior.

  • Support the establishment and the permanent review of risk assessment at workplace.

  • Waste and utility consumption monitoring on site. Report and take actions to ensure continuous improvement to save energy and reduce the waste volume and cost.

• Production follow-up of pursue excellence operation

  • Together with production planner and logistic team, ensure the respect of detailed production planning (package good units, raw material and finish goods delivery)

  • Efficient communication with other positions, e.g. production planning, maintenance, HSE, process and technology team, logistics, warehouse, QC/ lab in production process on timetables and priorities to guarantee the production planning

  • Supervise and monitor process control, analyze, and solve technical problems to keep high performance of safety, quality and productivity

  • Regularly follow up the action plan from audit/plant tour/shop floor/RCA report etc. and ensure all the action plan are implemented within the deadline.

  • Apply lean tools to improve process in manufacturing, focusing on cycle time reduction, manufacturing quality & productivity and build continuous improvement culture.

  • To identify continuous improvement opportunities of production and processes, and lead the continuous improvement projects

  • Maintain a better housekeeping level in plant

  • Lead the customer complaint investigation with RCA and quality department involvement, ensure non-conformance/off-spec incident is investigated for actions

• Others:

  • Establish /review and update SOP

  • MOC issue/analysis risk/ coordinate with project responsible person and ensure MOCs are well implemented within the deadline

  • Proactively organize know-how /SOP training to production team and ensure the training efficiency

  • Backup of production supervisor for daily production
    
    

Requirements:

• Bachelor or master degree, majored in polymer, chemical engineering.
• Very good English skill and computer skill.
• Good communication and interpersonal understanding.
• 3-5 years working experience in multinational chemical company; Lean production and 6 sigma training is preferred.
• Strong capacity of trouble shooting and problem solving.
• Flexible, straight forward and working with autonomy as team member.
• Self-motivated, independent and proactive.
• Good teamwork.
