Production Engineer (Taicang)

Job Role Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper and efficient utilization of manpower, proper operation and optimum use of plant facilities in lubricant plant to achieve optimum production which including lube oil blending, filling and packaging etc.
• Ensure the operation to be conducted flawlessly and efficiently, responsible for any process upset and troubleshooting
• Ensure product are produced on-spec, correctly packaged and labelled.
• Handle any technical and process quality issues, assists in quality issues investigations.
• Ensure the operation equipment are in the good condition by working together with Maintenance and engineering team, optimize the equipment strategy and PM plan; support Operations Manager on optimizing production process including bottleneck elimination and capacity increase when need with study and proposal to Engineering team.
• Optimize utilization of manpower and facilities to achieve production target.
• Conduct regular plant performance analysis from efficiency, productivity, reliability point view, identify the improvement opportunities and propose the solutions.
• Keep monitoring the new technology for lube oil blending, filling and packaging etc., evaluate and introduce the advanced technology into the plant daily operation.
• Support and fulfill the new product launch in the plant; Support Marketing and Sales together with engineering team on market initiatives.
• Establish effective communications with other functions and 3rd parties

Requirements:

• Bachelor or above degree education.
• Major in Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation, Automation or Chemical engineering etc.
• Work experience in petrochemical or mass consumption goods industry, Experience in lubricant industry is preferred.
• Good logic analysis and troubleshooting skill
• Good communication skill in both of Chinese and English.
• Good inter-personal skill to work across different departments.
• Able to work independently and take the pressure
• Able to work on the shift.
