Our client is an international supplier for the global consumer goods industry who is expanding strategically in the Global Market and is looking for a Production Manager to strengthen their production in China.

• Main responsibilities
  • Planning of new investment for machines and equipment based on companies business plan
  • Building up the engineering and shop floor organization to fulfil all business plan targets
  • Evaluation and planning of manufacturing processes based on production plan
  • Building up the solid know-how knowledge in the area
  • Manage, train and motivate employees to achieve the required targets
  • Review the status of planning and manufacturing, cost management, quality management and the delivery
  • Define and implement the measures to ensure that the business plan targets are achieved
  • Ensure the ISO9001 quality management system follow up in the production
  • Quality tools implementation (FMEA, CP, SPC, POKA YOKE, 8D, QAM) in the production
  • Review customer special requirements and complaints, implement the defined measures
  • Following all government and plant safety and environment regulations through planning, implementation and manufacturing including proper use of industrial safety equipment
  • Coordinate projects regarding cost reduction, quality improvements and customer satisfaction in the production area
  • Prepare all planning issues for audits (Quality, EHS, …)

• Qualification & Experience
  • At least 5 years’ experience in injection moulding and assembly processes
  • Computer skills in MS Office and MS Project
  • Organizational and leadership skills
  • Solid knowledge of engineering and operation of assembly processes
  • Project management skills
  • Ensure and systematic concepts implementation during planning and manufacturing activities
  • Coordinate with other functions in order to establish the maximize allocation of resources
  • AutoCAD / SolidWorks experience is an advantage

• Education
  • Bachelor or master degree in mechanical engineering

• Languages
  • Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • German language skills are an advantage
  • Exceptional verbal communication/reporting skills
