- Objective of the Position:
- To focus on the overall management of Production, Engineering, Planning function.
- Ensure On Time Delivery and deliver excellent TBM quality to customer.
- Continuously improve manufacturing efficiencies, productivities, production standard hour, eliminate 7 wastes and adopting LEAN Manufacturing practices.
- Basic Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering Background, preferably Degree holder
- Minimum 5 years of Working Experience on Machine Assembly (Mechanically and Electrically) as Production Manager especially in Japanese Equipment Manufacturing firm.
- Computer literature (MS Office 2007, MS Project 2007, MS Visio 2007)
- Fluent in Oral and Written English (Minimum Grade 6 and above)
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in foreign invested company
- Proven working experience in managing minimum 60 staffs, 2 shifts
- Ability to withstand pressure and work in tight schedule, fast pase environment
- Preferably with 5S Activities, 6 Sigma, Lean Practice, ISO-9001 experience
- Self-motivated, Proactive, Integrity, Confidence, Target and Process Oriented
- Excellent leadership quality, strong spirit of team work and initiative
- Technical Requirements:
- Ability to read mechanical / electrical drawings, standards and technical specification
- Ability to use ERP (UFIDA U8), AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge Requirements:

- Packing and loading of the TBM machine
- Maintaining a safety working environment, ZERO accident rate
- Work with Engineering team from machine assembly perspective
- Maintain a list of change items on each TBM machine / Project.
- Material Control/Warehouse Management
- Work with Warehouse to manage the WIP, return material to warehouse, scrap items.
- Ensure the inventory is managed by Project and clearly labeled.
- Ensure Warehouse team performs goods movement in the UFIDA system on timely manner and ensure no discrepancy.
- Conduct monthly cycle count plan.
- Responsible for shop floor 5S and ensure materials on shop floor are arranged properly, clearly labeled, smooth work flow.
- Follow up with Purchasing team on incoming material.
- Production Scheduling
- Assist Senior Production Planner in preparing the Master Production Schedule for TBM activities.
- Assist Senior Production Planner in Material Planning for TBM activities.
- Assist Senior Production Planner in executing the Production Schedule and getting close cooperation from the Production Team.
- Managing and monitoring the production progress in accordance to schedule and dead line

- Responsible for maintenance of facility, building
- Weekly report on Production Progress, Outstanding Issues Log
- Monthly report on OT, Manpower Planning, Production Resource Planning.
- Provide Customer Service to local and overseas customers as required
- Work with General Manager to derive Production Standard Hour for each sub-assembly and main frame assembly.
- Assist RMS colleagues in Production / Engineering perspectives.
- Other tasks required by General Manager.

- 100% On Time Delivery (OTD) to Customer
- 99.99% Stock Count Accuracy
- Zero Customer Complaint on TBM quality
