Objective of the Position

• The EPU Production Manager manages an Eberspaecher Production Unit (EPU) of 300 direct employees maximum plus the employees of the EPU Support Functions.
• Therefore he/she is the line manager of EPT Supervisors and of the EPU Support Functions.
• The EPU Production Manager is a member in the plant management team. The EPU Production Manager is responsible for ensuring SQCDP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery and People) results for his/her EPU-area.

Accountabilities

• The position incumbent ensures, that
• Assure production plans and the feasibility of the production plans.
• Meet established customer specifications concerning quality, cost, cycle time, quantity and delivery.
• Prepare (manufacturing) input for the EPU budget and maintain the budget.
• Manage the EPU Team: Assure appropriate staffing, maintain working environment according to
• Group health, safety and environment (HSE) standards, detect and advise training needs, share information, participate in career management initiatives, etc.
• Ensure daily EPU Top 5 meeting is effective and adding value.
• Implement preventative and corrective measures in the production process to assure that customer demands are properly met.
• Implement action plans in order to improve functionality/ productivity and to obtain program and Group objectives; make necessary corrective adjustments.
• Participate in the creation of production system efficiency projects and in CIP programs.
• Responsible for labor resource planning.
• Responsible for all production activity reporting and driving overall equipment effectiveness.
• Responsible to define the QPS team leader and QPS team.
• Drive launch management / industrialization.
• Fulfill production schedule according to SCM demands.
• Implement state environmental laws and company’s regulation, as well cooperate general manager
• Manage, inspect, and supervise own environmental departments’ work，
• Supervise, review and inspect own department environmental objective, indicator
