Job Description
Principal Accountabilities:
To ensure a smooth and effective production to maximum fill customer’s requirements. Quality, Safety, Health and Environment of production are the jobholder’s objectives.
- To work under the requirement of ISO9000/TS16949, ISO14000, OHSAS 18000 and PPG ICSP requirements. Develop necessary SOP to provide the guideline for the operations, monitoring the daily activities and responsible for the effectiveness for the systems;
- To develop the production team to support continuously growth for the business. Lead the team to conduct P&LP, Succession plan, development plan and improvement plan.
- To work with EHS team closely to implement all EHS requirement to cover both local regulation and PPG requirement. Be responsible for below activities in responsible area, it covers all the process, all the people and all the equipment.
- Preventive action development and implementation for any accident include but not limited to: Fire, SI&I, Spill;
- Report any accident based on time frame required by PPG to plant manager and development corrective action after accident and follow up the action to close stage.
- To lead team to achieve all KPI for production department.
- To Chair monthly production EHS/quality meeting.
- To lead the training for team leaders and chief operators and develop production team with HR support.
- To lead engagements initiatives for production to improve team satisfactions and engagement.
- To lead production ACT projects and work together with maintenance and PE team.
- To take responsibility to implement production process rules and organize quality control activities.
- To promote Lean as a tool and culture and lead cost reduction, productivity and cycle time improvement projects.
- To be responsible for the department budget and control daily to achieve annual target.
- To assist other projects as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Should meet all related requirements regarding Quality Management Systems and EHS Management Systems
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or equivalent.
- Fluency in writing and speaking English.
- Minimal three years production management experience with a multi-National company, 5 Year experience in a chemical manufacturing related facility, plus in powder industries.
- Good PC skills.
