Job Description Summary

Under the supervision of the Manufacturing Facilitator or designee, package and inspect products throughout all the Gaspak products and BACTEC kits.

Job Description

• Receives prints labels, verifies fert number, batch number and expiration date.
• Receives and verifies packaging materials such as:  literature, inserts, labels, containers, cartons, boxes, reagents and films.
• Package the products, places the products into containers and cartons, and inserts literatures.
• Seals and labels boxes, places finished products on pallets.
• At each step of the operation, visually inspects, labels product, containers, boxes and any other packaging material for compliance with established standards. 
• Removes defective items and forwards same to shift leader or designee for review.
• Completes data on Batch Production Records in neat and clear way. 
• Follows written instructions and complies with QSR, ISO, Safety, environmental regulations and housekeeping rules.
• Verifies the quantity produced at the end of the shift.
• Follows housekeeping procedures to maintain area cleans and in orderly manner.
• Active participation in Lean activities.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Sets up Bactec Kit line, assembly, packaging components as procedure instructions, inspect tray label, seal tray label, pack product as required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• 1 to 3 Years of experience in a similar role.
