Job Description
Authority Define the production plans and shipments of the plant, change parameters of materials in SAP. Job Summary This primary responsibility will be to ensure the production label requirements get completed on time and 100% accurate, to attend meetings with planning team, to create production Orders, inventory look up, request material transfers, ensuring proper transfer of un-needed inventory back to stock and create work orders. Job Responsibilities Create and maintain in SAP an achievable production plan based on the master schedule for the production line. Balance the production plan according to internal capacities and constraints in the manufacturing line Process ECN/ECR’s received and update production orders to reflect changes in BOM’s Expedite and assign priorities to production orders in SAP, cascading priorities to internal supply Be the champion in VSM to finish all production orders older than 2 weeks Be the champion for cleaning COGI errors in SAP as well as driving accountability from production to prevent these from happening. Drive accountability for past due status and OTP within the VSM, lead the problem solving team to identify and correct root causes that affect on time delivery Interacts with supply planners to make an achievable production plan and provides information to them about production order and expedites status so RGID’s are communicated to customers Coordinate reschedules of production orders based on material availability Daily review and communication with the VSM manager and team about production attainment Analyze, report and creatively find alternatives to material shortages that affect the production plan. Responsible for Material Master configuration and to review configuration items that could affect his daily duties. #Li-SL4 Qualifications Qualifications Education level required: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Administration or equivalent. Years and area of experience required: 2- 3 years’ experience in a similar role and industry in supply chain function. Technical knowledge: Knowledge of repetitive and discrete production, APICS certification is a plus, SAP experience, MS Office. Soft skills: Efficient, Ethical, Transparent, Accountable.
