Responsibilities:

• Ensures measuring equipment meets requirements (e.g. measuring system analysis MSA, etc.)
• Support Program & Customer Quality in the creation and update of the necessary inspection instructions according to the control plan (e.g.1st off instruction, self-inspection, final inspection instruction) as well as defect & rework catalogues
• Approves the work instructions on the production lines and thus ensures that all necessary inspections are included, the necessary time is allocated in the standardized work sheets
• Supports production in implementation and use of SPC in production according to the control plan
• Prepares (by creation of the QDAS inspection plans) and ensures the application of QDAS for inspection data collection and takes care for archiving all quality records in accordance with the control plan (first off inspection, …)
• Ensure the respect of the control plan (including product audits & requalification)
• Manages the blocked parts within the dedicated production area (quarantine)
• Performs regular production line related audits such as (Layered) process audits. quality basic audits, ... covering all shifts to ensure respect of the standardized work by the operators
• Performs product audits & requalifications according to annual audit plan
• Supports the EPU Supervisors & Team leaders in the implementation of the Quality Basics by training, monitoring, alert in case of deviation, …
• Training of all EPT Members in the application of the relevant customer specific requirements (focusing on special characteristics) and the consequences of their non fulfillment (especially with regard to Product Safety)
• Active participation in the problem solving process (QPS) and sustains the rigorous application of the method
• Drives continuous improvement in the dedicated production area
• Has the responsibility and authority to stop nonconforming products, shipment and/or production and to escalate to the Plant Quality Manager
• Ensures the respect of the IATF 16959 and customer specific requirements within the dedicated production area
• Ensure that the quality indicators are well tracked by the Team Leaders for the lines and initiates corrective actions and follow-up in case of deviation
• Installs, coordinates & monitors Containment Inspection

• Bachelor or above with mechanical engineering, welding and tooling major
• 4 years or above experience in production quality management of automotive, combining development, production and etc.
