In this role, you have the opportunity to
Drive product quality improvement activities, using statistics and data analysis techniques to improve processes. Working with production, manufacturing engineering and suppliers in the areas of process control, quality control and assurance, data collection, failure analysis, corrective actions, reporting for early detection, correction and continuous improvement. Responsible for “real time” investigation of failures, finding root causes, issuing summarizing report and following-up corrective actions implementation.
Please note, this is a fixed term position ending December 31, 2020.
You are responsible for
Managing and following-up on quality activities
Participating and leading “real time” manufacturing line investigations to identify cause and containment actions. Work with Production, Supply and Manufacturing Engineer personnel
Interpreting manufacturing outputs and customer inputs, defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions
Selecting and applying quality procedures and methods, appropriate inspection strategy and statistical techniques
Establishing and monitoring quality/process control for high risk parts and high risk suppliers
Creating and administer an effective closed-loop corrective action program
An active member at Detection/DMS production line team, responsible for quality plan preparation and maintain
Planing and participating in internal manufacturing audits and assessments as a co-auditor
Participating in the Material Review Board process to dispose of rejected material
You are a part of
Q&R - CT/AMI
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
B.A. / B.Sc degree
At least 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing plant
Good understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies (i.e. 8D, DMAIC, SPC, FMEA, Control Plan, LEAN
